As 2011 is coming to a close, i shall blog a long post of my '11 memories!
This year has been one of my most significant year as i had to experience a new school environment, new friends, new cca, new style of having lessons in sch, new commitments and a whole new life. I must say this year has been a pretty good year and I'm really blessed with many good friends in TPJC.
So at first after my Olevel results, i was really upset that i couldn't get into MJC- the school that i have always wanted to go. I ended up in TPJC and I was really really embarrassed to be in this sch as many(including me) perceived this sch to be lousy/cmi. But I guess after being in TPJC for 10months, I feel that it's God's will in letting me end up in this kampong sch. Firstly, it is just opposite my house and i just needa walk there in 10mins(HAHA most ppl are jealous of this fact) and secondly, if i really ended up in MJC, i might have been retained.
Met the awesome OG8 in this sch and they really made my first few months in this new environment less awkward and interesting. really miss you guys and I'm glad we still keep in contact and have outings!!!!!! Then came my class- 11S15. I was with Cheryl the first few months of school term and we were similar in the sense tt we're in the same cca and exact same subject combination! but well, thru the months in JC, i found my awesome clique- Preya, Ain, Maziyah, Kenneth and Shawn. I REALLY LOVE YOU GUYS OKAY
Thanks clique for all the outings this year- USS, Genki Sushi, watching Johnny English, Preya's florida bday, my bday celebration, Kenneth's house, Maz's hs for steamboat, batam ocip, christmas outing and all the times we hang out after sch ♥
Joined BASKETBALL as a cca HAHA yes i met good teammates esp seniors like Arina & Audrey and my closer peeps like Celestine & Tammie. Though I'm new to bball, this team really made me improve and made my first year in tpjc much more enjoyable. I remember I used to come to school looking forward for trainings cause they really made me happy : )
Highlight of the year was YOUTH CAMP in the june holidays! After the youth camp, many things changed. no.1, my friendship with S & J became much closer and no.2 my relationship with God really improve a lot! I guess God really touched me in this camp and let me be open to His words and not be lukewarm as I think the past 17years of my life, i have been pretty not on fire for God. I think the most significant thing that I changed this year after youth camp is not saying vulgarities anymore. yes, i used to say a lot of vulgarities mainly cause I'm easily influence by friends, but throughout this year, i am really proud that God helped me in this area of my life to kick away this bad habit. Thanks youth camp 2011:)
I quit bball in August and switched back to NETBALL(my sec sch cca) cause bball was left w really lil players+ Coach V was coming to coach. It is a really weird decision to switch back to netball cause i promised i will never ever get back to netball as 5 years in dunman netball is pretty long&tiring. hahahah i still ended up in netball afterall huh.... BUT I made the right decision- this batch of tpjc's netballers are really friendly and welcomed me with open arms(HAHA) and they are really hardworking. I am so glad to be part of this netball family, hope we will get TOP4 next yr for Adiv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
celebrated my 18th birthday this year w Samantha & claire, and Jane & sharmaine :)
PROMOS came... then ALEVELS PROJECTWORK'S ORAL PRESENTATION....
I am so thankful that i manage to promote!! i was so scared that i will retain cause i didnt meet the promo criteria for the mid-years. really praise the Lord!!!! and OH I LOST MY ITOUCH4 TOO IN THE MIDST OF MY PROMOS :(
BATAM OCIP trip with class was really good and meaningful, the kids @ the orphanage were so adorable and the trip made my class bond abit too!
NEXT HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR IS CAMBODIA OCIP TRIP(which i have yet to blog about it hahaha) THE 10DAYS WITH FELLOW MISSION IMPACT WAS AWESOME and i really miss the kids in Lovea primary sch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This trip taught me A LOT of things too and i really thank God for everything that I have in Singapore man! not forgetting our sentosa meetup during the dec hols too :)

Christmas meetup with the clique! :)
went to bedok point for lunch w Maz & Ain first, then met kenneth and then preya thereafter.
Sadly shawn couldnt join us, maybe cause of jetlag or sth :(
haha anw went to town and walked around aimlessly before settling down @ starbucks to chillax and to exchange gifts&cards+play our all-time fav game- CATEGORY > genki sushi for dinner!

woke up at 9am to catch the live telecast of the final results on friday! and it was all so worth it when i got to see melanie take the $5 million contract! and she is only 19 years old man!!! it was a great side to see melanie's whole church rooting for her man :)
Met up with Denise and Samantha on 15th dec and headed to town for shopping and lunch @ Tampopo (the ramen they serve at tampopo is really niceeeeeeeeeeee!) then starbucks to catchup!
anyway, I WAS AFFECTED BY THE SMRT BREAKDOWN on this day too!!!!!! had to take the bus all the way from town to tamp and had to miss many buses cause it was fully packed :( i took abt 2hrs in total to reach home from somerset:( really hope SMRT will be back to its usual self soon!
i am actually very happy to switch from bball to netball! the girls in netball really make me feel happy and i'm glad to see most of them being so hardworking and going all out for this sport(as most of them are new to netball) ! and most importantly, coach Vivian is back to coach us and i really hope my discipline for both sport and studies go up in JC2!!!!
Our goal for Adiv'12: Top4
I really pray that we can achieve the top4 in the Adiv comp with Coach V's help and hope all of our stamina/speed/skills/endurance increase in these few months. love you girls and also love our team bag hahaha

headed over to Sentosa with the cambodia ocip peeps on 13th dec, exactly one week after our cambodia trip! oh man, i really really miss them so much! can't wait for our next meet up, maybe 30thDec or sth hahah
So went to sentosa to 'swim', played frisbee, volleyball which most of the time we're picking up the ball (HAHA) then headed to vivo to meet the rest for dinner @ the open space & played category game hehe love you all!!!!

Went out with the 2 As- Arina and Audrey after their Alevels last sat! :)
went to 18 chefs @ east point for lunch and then we crashed Savannah Condo cause Audrey needa teach her cousin there ahahah it seemed like an adventure there and the condo is really cool cause there are so many 'animals' inside it HAHAHA dinner at niwa sushi thereafter. had a really awesome time out with them, and ohya they are my bball seniors btw, but we are all in the 18 club :)
