celebrated Samantha's belated birthday at Ikea yesterday.
a long string of events happened and I had to rush to Ikea to meet Sam and Claire, who waited for me for 2 hours!

K, so after my sch meeting at around 6+ pm, i rushed home to change and all. went to Tamp One by myself to get Sam's gift and cake and walked to the shuttle bus stand. BUT when i reached the shuttle bus stand, there were a lot of ppl and i had to wait for another half an hr for the next bus!!!!!!!! IKEA SHOULD INCREASE IT'S SHUTTLE BUS FREQUENCY!!! anw so once i reached ikea, i rushed up to dining area but had to find a lighter for the cake!

so i asked 2 guys "do you smoke? erm i need a lighter!"
but both guys didnt have and i had no choice but to hurry find S & C!
in the end, the surprise failed and the birthday girl saw me from afar alr........

hahaha however, it was a really great night out and HAPPY BIRTHDAY once again to Samantha! :)

i gotta start studying hard for next year and brush up on my J1 topics.
i expect my maths to get an A but i ended up w a B cause the whole paper was filled with careless mistakes :( my fav topic, binomial, got like 1 mark only for the whole binomial question cause of ONE careless mistake!!!! same goes for the other questions sigh

but i am really glad i passed econs and physics cause i failed it during the mid year exam!!


But no matter what, i still want to thank God for my results and that I can promote. it's really God's help that i can promote cause during my SA i didnt meet the 2 criteria for promotion!!!

visited Holland Village for the first time with S & J last last week!
it was really a cool experience cause we found this whole row of shops that sell cool baking stuff near the terrace houses. hang around at holland V for the whole afternoon!

i was trying to look for the windmill at Holland V cause the channel 8 nasi lemak show(that chen liping acted in it last time!) showed the windmill and i thought the windmill would be like situated at ground level and we can take pics with, BUT we found out that the windmill was right on top of a building!!! :(

yes, we must thank netball for pulling us even closer. thanks for all the training days where we used to meet after class to fill our 1.5l water bottles, change to jersey, buy our salmon biscuit in the canteen, run together for warm up, attend trngs together. and rmb those times when i'm sad/frustrated during netball, you would always encourage & cheer me up! plus those times where we work hard together to get into top 12!

Everyone is asking if i am having holiday now, the answer is NO.
I have to go back to sch EVERYDAY for 3hours of PW and 1.5 hours of CHINESE
:( Alevel chinese is on 31st oct. my last day of sch is 25th nov (which is very long later!)

ANYWAY i am very excited for batam trip from 19-20 nov & Cambodia trip from 26-6dec!!!!!!!!
i wanna get out of this little island! have been trying to learn cambodian language(khmer) for these past few days as i will be there for 10 days and i better master the basic language!

another thing.
my results are gonna be back on monday(3 more days!!!!! :O)
so far my teachers hinted that i passed econs and history so i'm keeping my hopes high that i will promote to j2 :) If i promote, i will sign up for OGL(orientation group leader) for next year's orientation teehee
